Board of Management

The Board of Management which is the decision body of the Eastern Mediterranean Development Agency (DOGAKA), consists of Hatay, Kahramanmaraş and Osmaniye Governors and the Heads of Municipal / Metropolitan Municipalities, Provincial General Assembly and Chambers of Commerce and Industry. Our Agency's Board of Management; in the region od TR63 NUTS II come togather in each month alternately.

The duties and authorities determined by the Board of Management are as follows:

• To accept the annual work program and submit it to the approval of the Ministry of Development,
• To revise the budget according to needs during the year,
• To approve the annual financial report and the final budget results,
• Buying, selling and renting of movable and immovable properties and deciding on the purchase of services,
• To send the annual activity report to the Ministry of Development with an interim report of six months,
• To approve the agency budget and send it to the Ministry of Development,
• To approve the proposals for the support of the programs, projects and activities submitted by the Secretariat General and the aids to be made to individuals and organizations,
• To accept donations and grants to the Agency,
• Deciding whether or not to recruit staff and terminate their employment,
• To approve the working units determined by the Secretary-General and the division of labor between them,
• To determine the Secretary General and submit it to the Ministry of Development for approval,
• To determine the limits to which the Secretary General shall be authorized to procure, sell and rent movable goods outside the vehicle and to procure services,

The Board of Management may, if it deems necessary, transfer to the Secretary General some of the duties and powers listed above (provided that they clearly specify their limits). In this frame, necessary actions are taken by the parties as soon as possible in order to carry out the agency activities quickly, effectively and efficiently.
