“Vocational and Technical Education Workshop” was held in Osmaniye within the scope of “Vocational and Technical Education” themed activities

In order to improve the competitiveness and efficiency of Turkish industry, to produce high value-added and advanced technology products, to transform the industrial structure with qualified labor force, through improving vocational education, T.R. Ministry of Industry and Technology has determined the theme of “Vocational and Technical Education” with the motto “My Future, My Profession”.

Within the scope of “Vocational and Technical Education” themed activities, “Vocational and Technical Education Workshop” modearated by Osmaniye Korkut Ata University was held with the participation of public institutions and organizations, representatives of professional chambers, private sector representatives, in cooperation with Osmaniye Provincial Directorate of National Education. Workshop was held at 21-22 January 2020 at Osmaniye Teacher's House training hall. workshop report was prepared by taking the opinions and suggestions of the participants about the topics “Physical conditions of Vocational and Technical Education, School-Industry Cooperation, Teacher Training and Student Status, School Education and Programs”. The report was shared on the 2nd day of the workshop with the presentation of the conclusion statement which organized with the participation of Ömer Faruk Coşkun, Governor of Osmaniye.
